Maddie "Lemalade" Copp is a fine art painter, illustrator and sculptor whose work reflects a love of color, whimsy, and "Nostalgiacore". Her most recent body of work focuses on light and reflection within glass and faceted crystal, often juxtaposed with fruits, candies, or anthropomorphic characters and toys from the 80's and 90's. Maddie has sold hundreds of copies of her beloved pop-influenced tarot decks worldwide, and has previously shown her original art at the 4th Wall Gallery, Boston, the Bakalar and Paine Gallery, Warehouse XI, Somerville, Aeronaut Brewery, The Somerville Museum, and Milk Row Studios, Somerville, where she has permanent studio space at Copp Creature Shop with her husband, fellow artist Justin Mattarocchia Copp.
